General
We’re a Cape Town-based WordPress web design studio. We build professional, custom websites for South African businesses, from one-pagers to full eCommerce stores, and offer managed hosting and maintenance.
Based in Cape Town. Almost all our projects run remotely. If you’re in Cape Town we can also meet in person. We’ve delivered projects for UK-based clients with zero in-person contact.
No. Website builds are once-off projects. Hosting and maintenance plans are month-to-month with 30 days’ cancellation notice.
Pricing
One-page sites start from R1,999. Standard business sites from R3,500. Professional sites from R7,500. eCommerce stores from R12,500. Full pricing is visible on our plans page: no calls required to see a number.
No. We show the full cost before you commit. The only additions are if you request scope changes during the build. We notify you before making any changes that would affect the cost.
Yes. Most projects are split into a deposit to start and the balance at launch. We can discuss specific arrangements if your situation requires it.
Process
Choose a plan, fill in your project brief, we design and develop, you review and request changes, final approval, launch. We keep you updated at every stage.
One-page sites: 2-3 business days. Starter sites: 5-7 days. Professional sites: 7-10 days. eCommerce: 10-20 days. Timeline starts when we receive your completed brief and any content.
At minimum: your logo, your basic brand colours and the text you want on each page. Photos, specific images and brand guide if you have them. We can supply copy and stock imagery as an add-on.
Technical
WordPress. We use Elementor for page design. Every site is built on your own hosting: you own the files, the domain and the account.
Yes. Every Clicktown site is built mobile-first. We test across multiple screen sizes before launch.
Technical SEO is standard in every build: meta tags, schema markup, sitemap, clean URL structure, fast load times. Content SEO (ranking for keywords) requires ongoing blog content and link building: that’s a separate ongoing service.
Hosting & Maintenance
From R99/month for hosting, SSL and daily backups. R149/month adds monthly updates and priority support. R350/month adds content updates and SEO reporting.
On our ‘Build + Host’ plans, 1 year of hosting is included. On ‘Build Only’ plans, hosting is separate. You can host with us or independently.
On Advanced and Full Management plans, we restore from the latest backup and do a security audit. All plans include daily backups with 30-day retention.
